Great price works flawlessly

This is a very nice mag drill for the money you spend. I looked at several an for what I needed to do this covers all my needs. The magnet is strong. It was easy to set up twist drills. There not a thing wrong with it that I can see.

Works well for me the light user.

I have had this drill for a year and have put over 300 holes from 1/2" to 1-1/4" through steel and aluminum plate 1/4" to 1" thick and it has worked wonderfully. I often clamp a piece of plate steel to aluminum and attach the drill to that and overhang the end to drill, works great. The one speed RPM is 570 which is fine for steel/aluminum but I've found is too fast for titanium (and likely stainless though I haven't had to drill that with this). Most holes were vertical upright but it had no issues doing 1" holes in steel with the drill magged on sideways. I only managed to lift it off the steel base plate once when putting most of my body weight into a titanium attempt. Not recommended for that material with an annular cutter. I wish the coolant bottle attachment was better thought out, I lost the two tiny mounting screws fairly quickly. A Weldon shank twist chuck is a needed accessory but the guide rails have enough vertical height to use one. This model does not use Morse 2 taper attachments. For the price point this is a great unit.

Wish I bought something like this years ago. It worked flawlessly drilling 250 holes in 1/2" thick steel using 9/16" annular cutter. I want to now get the EVOMAG40.

For what I would consider a light duty drill this unit does all I need it to do. I wanted a unit that wasn't heavy because of the places I need to use it,(restricted access overhead areas) cutting thru 3/4- 1 1/4 inch steel. I have cut up to 1 3/8 holes with this unit without problem. Been using 7 months and after hundreds of holes still good. I don't know why I never bought one before.

very solid and well constructed press.

I have had this drill for over one year and it has performed up to my expectations as I have drilled over 200 holes in steel from 1/8 to 3/4 thick using cutters up to 1" with no problems, I only wish that I had purchased one years ago.

Great buy. Harder to change to drill chuck than others, but more stable when using rota-broach style cutters.

I purchase this drill with a little hesitation but I used it for one job, about 22 !/2" holes in 1/2" steel plate.( Flitch plate for a header) It preformed really well, As well as the Evolution Annular cutters. Nice tool for the money. I think it will serve me fine as I don't drill heavy plate every day.
